Week 20 - December 9, 2025 - Chiba

This week has been great! I haven't been this tired since the good ol' swim days.


Highlights:
-Funeral (The Spirit was so strong)
-Christmas Zone Conference!
-Talking to more people than ever (And handing out mini Jesus figurines)
-Cinnamon bears

This week we've been doubling down on sharing the light of Christ this Christmas season! I want to share about why this Christmas season is special to me. 

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World!

I rejoice in my Savior! There is a reason that angels were sent to "Declare great tidings of great joy" of the Savior's birth. We have such a great reason to rejoice!

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth 2000 years ago. He taught how to have hope and joy in this life and in the life after death. He was baptized as a witness of the promise he made to follow God. He taught us to be kind, serve others without seeking anything in return, forgive everyone, and sincerely pray to Heavenly Father. But what makes him the Savior of the world, the reason that we all have great reason to rejoice, is that he provided the way back to the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father!

Many others have taught us how to draw closer to God, but Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universe, was the only one whose perfect love would let him stand in our place and suffer for our mistakes. His perfect love and power overcame death! We can be with our families forever! Jesus Christ loves you so much! He is your personal Savior! He knows exactly what it feels like to feel lost, abandoned, betrayed, hurt, and he has experienced every ailment, struggle, or difficulty have have experienced, and will experience! And he knows how to overcome them. He deeply desires to help us! 

I know this to be true. He has helped me in infinitely personal ways to overcome my struggles, no matter how small they may seem. 

It doesn't make it easy, but it erases, or atones, for all anguish, helplessness, or anything that separates us from taking Christ's hand and to continue pushing forward!

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).

I love you guys! I invite you to ponder on how you can use this Christmas season to light the world! I know that as you do opportunities will be given for you to share the joy of the Savior's birth!

What a crazy week! Time is short, so forgive the short email! Highlights: -my new district is awesome -met some awesome people -being humbled -stake sports day! READ THIS PART  One of our teaching friends shared with us some questions he had about the Plan of Salvation, and then gave one of the best explanations of the three kingdoms I have ever heard! He described the kingdoms almost like "A" "B" "C" levels of happy or like 100%, 50% or 10%, but then pointed out that for the people living there, it is there own personal, "100%" happy! Just how in Alma 42 it describes how we are restored to our natural frame, and it would be unnatural to restore an unhappy person to happiness, people who have never lived a "celestial" life will not comprehend that is is the true "100%" happy. Week 37 - April 7, 2026 - Koiwa

This week was incredible and incredibly hard. I love it! Highlights:  -Zone conference! -President interviews -Sakura! -concert in Tokyo! READ THIS PART  I love the Savior! I love Easter. Because of Jesus Christ my furnace of affliction becomes bearable, and joyful! I can rejoice in my afflictions because they help me understand the Savior. He is supporting me through all that I experience and he is closer to me than I can understand.  This applies to you too!  And you can know for yourself! John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 3 Nephi 13:7 Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Week 30! - February 17, 2026 - Koiwa

Time is short... but missionary work is the best even when it rips me apart! Ive definitely been trying to apply the "when you feel like 10%, give 100% of your 10%" I wish I could accurately give credit to whoever said that because it is awesome. Highlights: -Awesome DCM -incredible lessons  -met with Hao before he moves! -saw some many miracles despite our weakness -Temple P-day This week has lead to to think a lot about humility and comparison. Particularly the humility to talk to everyone.
