This week has been a roller coaster of miracles! I'm not sure I can adequetly express how much I've learned this week, but long story short Jesus is awesome!  Highlights:  -Moved to Koiwa!  -I have the best companion! (Elder Kim from Las Vegas) -Had an incredible Christmas party  -Got to sing in our Ward choir!  -Had so many incredible lessons!  -Had a KFC Christmas Eve  -Found 2 new inactive members to work with!  READ THIS PART  Christ lives! I can't think of any two words that have a greater impact on human history. Christ lives to heal, save, and guide you. Yes you individually!  This week has been an undeniable witness to me that this is true. I know it! And my favorite part is that you can too!  Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has the opportunity to spend time with their family and celebrate together. Family is such a crucial part of Heavenly Father's plan to become like Him!  This may sound crazy, but I would love to in...

This week has been crazy! This email might be a little shorter than usual as I pack... (hint hint). Highlights: -President interviews! -Exchange with the legendary Koseki 長老 -Back to back exchange with the also legendary Hemingway 長老 -Transfer announcements! (I'm going to 小岩/Koiwa)  READ THIS PART The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions as I face the fact that not only am I leaving my beloved Chiba area, but I'm moving to a new area with a companion that has been in the mission the same time as me! One of the few things that I  know  is that the Lord has a plan for us. This perfectly sums up what I have been studying about this week: Unity, meekness, and the companionship of the Holy Ghost! Everything boils down to following the Savior, and doing our best to become perfect even as he is.  "Unity does not require sameness, but it does require harmony. We can have our hearts knit together in love, be one in faith and doctrine, and still cheer for different ...

This week has been great! I haven't been this tired since the good ol' swim days. Highlights: -Funeral (The Spirit was so strong) -Christmas Zone Conference! -Talking to more people than ever (And handing out mini Jesus figurines) -Cinnamon bears  READ THIS PART This week we've been doubling down on sharing the light of Christ this Christmas season! I want to share about why this Christmas season is special to me.  Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World! I rejoice in my Savior! There is a reason that angels were sent to "Declare great tidings of great joy" of the Savior's birth. We have such a great reason to rejoice! Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth 2000 years ago. He taught how to have hope and joy in this life and in the life after death. He was baptized as a witness of the promise he made to follow God. He taught us to be kind, serve others without seeking anything in return, forgive everyone, and sincerely pray to Heavenly Father. But what mak...

This week has been rough, mainly because I've been hovering around a 100° fever all week, but the show must go on! Highlights:  -first in person teaching! Pray for Yoshio! -read Jacob 5 (all of human history in five pages?! So cool) -got all my passoffs done before zone conference  Not highlights:  -being sick (would not recommend) READ THIS PART This week has been a great reflection on the Priesthood! Both Aaronic and Melchezidek. Part of finding the joy that Heavenly Father wants you to feel is fulfilling your Priesthood duties! Whether that's the responsibilities of an ordained deacon, teacher, priest, elder, or in any calling that we hold!  "Only if you sacrifice for a cause will you love it" Shout out to my quorum back home (if they read this) for being a great example of serving others! And I encourage you to keep activities focused on fulfilling your priesthood duties to minister to the needs of others. Be careful of making it an entertainment program!  T...
